Kauai Adventure – Helicopter Tour Doors Off

We love a good thrill and our most recent helicopter tour with Jack Harter Helicopters did not disappoint us We had an amazing experience on our “no doors” helicopter tour.  We saw the entire island spanning from the Napali Coast, to Waimea Canyon, out to Hanelei area and much more. The beauty of the tour is that this helicopter only seats 5 (including pilot), so there are no obstructed view and it’s a very intimate experience. We have also sent many clients on this tour and the reviews are all 5 star!

A few key tips:

  • Make sure to wear pants
  • The 60-65 minute tour option is a good amount of time to discover the island
  • No sandals allowed, so bring shoes
  • Sit in the back of the helicopter if possible, as this will ensure that you have a “doors off” view of the stunning scenery
  • If you plan to take camera or phone, ensure that you bring a strap for it. Otherwise, it’s not allowed
  • Wear a wind jacket or sweater, but no hoodie

We were fortunate there was torrential rain in the mountain, which created amazing waterfalls everywhere!

Here are a couple of videos as well to help show just how thrilling this adventure this is in Kauai!   This was certainly one of those “must do” experiences when in Kauai.  We were able to view so many areas that are only accessible by helicopter (and/or boat on the coast). Have any questions or comments about our experience on the helicopter? Is it now on your bucket list?  Let us know if we can help with anything. We’d be happy to
