The time is almost here as we get ready to ring in the New Year.  New Year’s Eve for many of us is a very festive time of the year and we dream to spend it in the best way. Although these are not warm weather destinations, these 5 European Cities to Spend New Year’s Eve provide very unique experiences to ring in the New Year!

1. Prague

The capital of Czech Republic guarantees lots of attractions like concerts, dance shows, and huge open air party. Charles Bridge and Venceslas Square cannot be missed during that special night as the most beautiful views can be admired from there. 2. Madrid

The Spanish capital is turning into a big party located centrally on the Puerta del Sol. At midnight, the gathered crowd listed to the sound of bell from the tower at town hall, and at that time everyone should eat 12 grapes. It is believed that eating grapes with each bell will bring happiness in the New Year. The first day of New Year should be started with churros – a fried-dough pastries served with cinnamon or sugar.

5.  Berlin

The capital of Germany offers the biggest and the best celebration of all the cities in Europe. Crowd gathers at the Brandenburg Gate, where you can admire, apart from the fireworks, spectacular laser show, lighting effects, and take part in party with electro  music. For fans of tropical climates Berlin has a very original option – Tropical Islands. This is a great alternative, about 35 km from Berlin. The temperature does not drop below 26 C/78F, as it’s paradise inside of the an old aircraft carrier. This immense dome is the biggest self-supported hall in the world.
