Tamarindo has evolved to become one of the Guanascate most popular and developed towns. No longer a quiet surfing town with dirt roads. Tamarindo offers many options for any type of traveler. There are many great restaurants, shops and bars. Also, the beach of course remains one of the most popular in Costa Rica. The pure sand, warm ocean, surfing for all levels and surrounding nature make this a great destination.-

Activities
-
Surfing in Tamarindo
- One of the best things to do in a surfer town? The answer is grabbing a board and head out surfing. There are a ton of great surf shops in town where you can get a lesson if needed. Otherwise, rent a board and head out to catch some waves.
- The best beginner spots include the beach in front of Witches Rock Surf Camp, beach in front of Capitan Suizo hotel, Avellanas and Playa Grande.
-
Catamaran Sailing & Snorkeling – Afternoon Tour
- Silently glide along Costa Rica’s Gold Coast while passing some of Guanacaste’s exotic bays, white sand beaches and tropical jungles.
- Gaze off the bow with a cold tropical drink prepared and served by the crew as you scan the seas for dolphins, sea turtles, flying fish or even a breaching whale. Stop in a tranquil bay, drop anchor and frolic in the blue Pacific.
- Snorkel in the bay or run down the deserted white sand beach while the crew prepares a feast of chicken or pasta salad, fruit, chips, pico de gallo, guacamole and homemade chocolate chip cookies.
“It was an incredible trip. Weather is weather, which did not bother us. Thank You many times – again!
