The Timely Traveler – September in Review

We love helping our travelers put together amazing trips. Here is our September in Review.  Our team continues to receive requests for last minute fall/winter trips and quite a few for early 2018. We urge all of our travelers to finalize these trips quickly, as rates are rising and accommodations are starting to reach capacity. Below are a few highlights of destinations that our travelers visited in September:

  Client Trip Spotlight from September – Portugal Travel

• We were fortunate to help plan a trip for  a client who we’ve worked with on several adventures. This time they were interested in Portugal. We had just the perfect itinerary for them for a quick 10 day getaway, along with plenty of input from them as well. We helped book their international flights, rental car, excursions and accommodations for the trip. As usual, they had an amazing experience!

Days 1-5:: Lisbon

• Accommodations
  • Sofitel Lisbon Liberdade Hotel (Deluxe Room with Breakfast)
    • The hotel is centrally located in Lisbon, which allows great walkability to attractions, shops and restaurants.

• Activities
  • Booked a excursion with the company “We Hate Tourism”: They took a trip to Sintra, which they thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommended to future travelers.
  • Culinary Backstreets Tours:  They did the full day tour and it was amazing. They provided a great introduction to the food/beverage/layout of the city as well as providing  good suggestion.
  • Lisbon Winery – Great experience here and recommended!

Days 6-9:: Lagos

• Accommodations
  • Villas Doris Suite (Sea View Apartment with Views)
  • The hotel is absolutely beautiful inside, impeccably clean, wonderful view, very friendly staff, good breakfast at the sister hotel. There is not too much action in the area, which was perfect for our client looking to relax on this part of the trip. A great location and they would recommend to stay again!
• Activities
  • They had a rental car for this portion of the trip and explored the area!

Day 10 – Lisbon
