Enjoying the Beautiful Plitvice Lakes

 

• The Plitvice Lakes National Park in Croatia is set in one of the most natural beautiful settings that we have visited.  There are 16 lakes that are connected with walkways, trails and an electric boat to take you around the area.  There are also several stunning waterfalls throughout the park.   The one thing to keep in mind here is that you cannot swim in any of the lakes, as this is in the protected UNESCO World Heritage list.
